Cobranding Partnering Opportunities:
How to License HaloSource
Health Science Technologies
The success of HaloSource is directly related to how successfully we cobrand our
antimicrobial and clean technology solutions with your brands in your markets.
We are highly motivated to help you gain a competitive edge
and differentiation by integrating HaloSource’s unique,
proprietary
water purification andantimicrobial technologies solutions into your products.
Our licensing and co-branded product development
process is systematic and logical. No surprises.
1. Product Development Plan and Licensing Agreement
2. Technical Development and Regulatory Review
3. Claims and Marketing Communications Development
4. Technology Transfer and Quality Assurance
5. On going Customer and Regulatory Support.
1. Product Development Plan & Licensing Agreement
Together we identify potential product applications for your
markets. Then, HaloSource prepares a product development and
optimization plan and proposal for your approval. Simultaneously,
you and a HaloSource product manager begin laying the terms
and conditions for an application-specific licensing agreement, including geographies, exclusivity, length of the agreement, license
fee and royalty, etc.
Partnership Options
• Technology in-licensing or acquisition
• Joint technology/product development
• Strategic alliances
• Strategic investment
• Merger or acquisition
For advanced or early-stage product applications, we may need
to do a feasibility study. In this case, we will jointly prepare
a feasibility study plan designed to provide proof-of-concept
and a demonstration of our ability to meet your product performance
objectives.
2. Technical Development & Regulatory Review
HaloSource’s technical and scientific staff is unmatched
in our areas of technology focus. Together we identify areas for technical development, product testing, product efficacy, clinical testing and regulatory review—for example, product performance, manufacturing parameters and hurdles, manufacturing plant trials, product usage conditions, verification of existing EPA registrations, filing for new registrations or amendments, etc. Then, HaloSource
prepares a technical development and regulatory review plan
and proposal for your approval.
3. Claims & Marketing Communications Development
HaloSource understands the power of branding and the need
to understand how to best communicate the cobranded product’s
features, claims and benefits to customers through the strategic
selection of sales messages and imagery.
All cobranded products are market researched to ensure our
joint success with customers and the channel and to develop appropriate claims language in compliance with EPA guidelines. We will
work with your marketing team to ensure the optimal results
of your customer market research or, with our brand consultant,
BrandSolutions, HaloSource can lead brand identity market
research. In addition, HaloSource marketing assists you with
the development and execution of a marketing communications
plan for product launch.
4. Technology Transfer and Quality Assurance
The HaloSource health science technology is transferred to
you and your facilities. HaloSource and our lab can assist
you with the development of a quality assurance program. As
needed, a Supply agreement will be executed between you and
HaloSource prior to product commercialization.
